Victoria's thoughts never strayed far from the moment she was in, and this one most certainly was no different, especially not since she was spending it with Macavity.

It would seem that the tall ginger tom found more and more reason to spend his days or nights in the company of the petite dancer, and that it bothered just about everyone but her.

Even the most callous of cats found that something about Macavity paying so much attention to the little jellicle jewel bothered them. Not many would have been able or willing to put words to it, but there was a general consensus amongst even the criminal elements of cat society that this was just... wrong.

There had to be a certain balance to things, and the mystery cat was upsetting it. He was upsetting it bad.

Victoria didn't think of such things, of course, as Macavity's kisses made her purr contently and lean back against him with complete trust. What she thought about was whether or not he might perhaps possibly maybe love her, the way she thought that she might perhaps possibly maybe love him. It was a big word. An important one.

She pushed one of the sleeves of his shirt up a little so that she could run her fingertips over the skin on his arm.

"I'm so glad you could spend the holidays with me."
